The phrase “Ayelet HaShachar” can have several meanings:

• The morning star.
• One of Queen Esther’s names.
• A music instrument that was played at down (or a psalm which was sung at this time).
• The Jewish people who are as dear to HaShem and as beautiful as a doe and a sunrise.
